A complete list of vertical, Flip Grip-compatible Switch games

The Flip Grip is an inexpensive accessory for the Switch which allows you to attach your Joy-Cons to the top and bottom of the console, and play games which support a vertical orientation in handheld mode.

Those of you who play shmups and pinball games will likely be all over this already – but there are plenty of other fantastic games in the Switch library that support it – Downwell is a favorite of mine.

At the time of writing, the Flip Grip is currently sold out, but you can sign up for news on restocking at Fangamer.

So whether you call it TATE mode, portrait mode or vertical mode, here’s a complete list of Switch titles which support it. Don’t forget to create an account and set up deal alerts on any game in our database!
