How to unlock the Pirahna Plant fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

You have until the 31st of January to register your copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and get a free Pirahna Plant download code.

If you bought the game digitally, you should have already received your code via email. If you bought the cartridge, you’ll need to:

• Put the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate cartridge in your Switch
• Select the game in the Switch menu
• Press the + button
• Select My Nintendo Rewards Program
• Select Earn Points

Within 10 days, you should receive an email from Nintendo. For me, the subject line was “Your Pirahna Plant Fighter code is here!” and the from email was [email protected]. Simply typing “from:nintendo” into the search box of Gmail worked for me.

If you haven’t received your code after 10 days, you can try calling Nintendo customer support on 1-800-255-3700, or 1-855-548-4693 if you’re outside the US or Canada.

Pirahna Plant will be released some time in February, and you have until the 30th of June to redeem the code.
