So you’ve got the dreaded 2110-3127 error code, after weeks of connecting to your router without issues. Here’s how to fix it – and what to do when you’ve already tried all the official solutions.

Nintendo’s own support page for the error suggests a few solutions, which you should definitely try first:

Restart the Switch

Hold the power button on the top of the Switch for three seconds, select “Power Options” and then “Restart”.

Power cycle your router

You know the drill. Completely disconnect your router from the power source, wait a bit, and reconnect it.

Use alternate DNS servers

Try 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, which are Google’s DNS servers.

Forums all over the web have reports from people who’ve solved the 2110-3127 issue using one of these steps, but if you still can’t connect, here’s what to do:

Manually assign your Switch an IP address

You may need to log in to your router, or check another device connected to it, to determine what your gateway IP address is. This is what ended up fixing the issue for us, after weeks of pain.
